The Australian Open

Good afternoon,
Like most of you know, I, Jr Blogger, am an avid tennis player. As the title states, I have recently finished watching a replay of the Australian Open, which is one of four Major Tournaments, or Grand Slams. After winning consecutive matches, Roger Federer of Switzerland and Andy Murray of Scotland were paired up against each other in an epic battle ending with a final score of 6-3, 6-4, 7-6. At the trophy ceremony, Murray broke into tears while congratulating Federer. Great job Federer, and good luck next year, Murray!!! The next Grand Slam is the French Open.

PvP, and New Looks!

Hiya!
Good evening. As pictured above, you should notice that I have finally learned how to post numerous pictures in a single post. Boo yah! Pictured above, notice Valkoor Willowweaver's new look!
Before: Yellow and Black.
After: White and Purple!
Ta-da! I thought, since I might be getting my Commander Gear soon, that I should quicky pick out a new set of colors. Also, in the second picture, notice that I took the screen shot while browsing "Watch-able" PvP duels. I was hovering my cursor over the numerous duelists, trying to figure out what a good match-up would be. Suddenly, I found a PvP Dueler named Angela R! Above notice that Angela has an insane amount of rank points. Think that might be high? Once before, I saw a GrandMaster Ice Wizard, who held the rank of 2,600! I. Think. That. Should. Be. Illegal. Really, that much rank? WOW . . . I'm sure you'll lots of posts with numerous pictures, and I hope you enjoyed Valkoor's new looks. I have to say, he looks quick dashing . . .

Look close and you will see....

Walking past the workers and artist who were building this sculpture I noticed that some of them were using tools to scrape the ice. I thought that they were doing this to make sure the blocks of ice fit together properly. I had quite a surprise this morning when I walked closer to the sculpture. The artists were actually carving words into some of the blocks of ice. They were leaving messages for all who came to see the sculpture. They were writing the word "H A I T I" in different languages. This was so interesting to see. These artists were appealing to everyone, not just Norwegians, to contribute some money to help the suffering people in Haiti. Now, that is a very good idea. That's My2Cents.

Ice Building Mystery Solved !

I have discovered the purpose for the various ice "igloos" I have been seeing around Oslo, Norway. These ice "sculptures" are to call attention to the suffering that is happening in Haiti. Artists in Norway are building these in hope of raising money to donate to the suffering people in Haiti. The ice block structure you see in this picture took 2 full days to build. The workers worked late into the night in freezing cold weather to build this very special work or art. In the background you can see a brick building. This is the Nobel Peace Prize building. It is called "city hall". It is where President Obama received the Nobel Peace Prize. I think that putting the ice sculpture close to this historic building is a good idea. But that's just My2Cents. More to come on this important issue about Haiti.

Is this a new level in Wizard 101?

Posted by Picasa

This is SR. Blogger writing to you from the land of ice and snow! I am in a country that is famous for skiing, salmon fish, reindeer and the place where the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded. Guess the answer and win the prize!! Well, back to this picture. I was walking along what is called "The Walking Street" here in Oslo, Norway. (now you know the answer!) The name of the street is Karl Johans Gate ("Gate" means street in the Norwegian language). Karl Johans street extends from the central train station all the way to the Royal Palace where the King and Queen of Norway reside. While I was walking along the street I came upon this unusual construction of ice blocks in the middle of the street. What could it be? An igloo for tall people? An art construction?
Just a bunch of big ice cubes stacked on top of each other? I got up close to it and could see there was no way it could be an ice "house" for anyone...tall or short.
I asked a few people if they knew what it was and no one had a clue. Finally, I found someone in one of the shops who had the answer. This ice sculpture is a work of art...that will go away (melt) when the weather warms up. It was built for a TV show that was being filmed a few days before I got to "discover" it. So, that's the answer. I am sure there is more to the story and I will try and find out more and post any updates for you. I think that it is a very cool (pardon the pun) piece of art work and it sure gets your attention. But then that's just MY2Cents worth. Have a great day. SR. Blogger out.

I'm a Lord of a War!!! (Kind of)

Woohoo!
I hope you're having a good week, as I am. I had a half-day of school today, so I got home early. I just finished reading an Aesop's Fables book. I love all those great lessons. Now back on topic. Valkoor WillowWeaver, Level 12 Conjurer, is finally an infamous Warlord! After long duels, a ton of Minotaur, Orthrus, and some Bolt treasures, I have finally reached the highest rank in the game!!! I'd like to thank "dapangrulez" again, for giving me useful PvP tips. Thanks! I'm sure we'll see young Valkoor in full Commander Gear, soon . . .

Balancing Things Out

Hello!
As of January 18, 2010, Chase WillowWeaver, is a Master Of Balance!!! To kick it off, I'd like to thank Patrick BearHammer, Grandmaster Sorcerer for helping me through the entire Quest line for Power Nova. Didn't Patrick BearHammer delete his character, you ask? He did. Luckily, I was buddies with Patrick BearHammer Master of BALANCE. Pictured above you see me summoning a Judgement minion, who is giving me the words of power to recieve the spell Power Nova, and the Pet Hydra! Next in line for Chase, is the Grandmaster level! Wish me luck!

Jaws!

Happy Friday!
Sorry I haven't been posting recently. I've been quite busy arming Valkoor with the Footgear of the Indomitable! Above you see pictured, what all of us 2nd Generation Wizards have been waiting for. Another Triton robe! Woohoo! Unfortunately, I do not have enough crowns to purchase the infamous Robe of the Deep. Granting you 100 health, 4% power pips, 9% tough, 7% resist, and the Triton card, this new Crowns-only robe is a force to be reckoned with! I'm sure we'll all see many Wizards cloaked with this robe, now that is has FINALLY been released! As they say in Jaws, dun dun, dun don, dun don don don dun don! Or something like that . . .

Back in Time2

Hello,
I have some very sad news. I, Jr Blogger have just returned from the dreaded hospital. I had a horrible sore throat, and was told by my pediatrician to venture to the HOSPITAL. I drove to the hospital, and was stationed in a bed. I had lots of blood taken, and lots of medicine. Fortunately, I do not have the Flu, or anything terrible. I returned home after an excrutiating 4 hours.

My good friend in real life, has finally created a blog of his own. I will be the Co. Writer and Editor for his blog, Back in Time2. You may visit his blog by clicking the link in the blog list. The blog will be about him and me, traveling back in time to for example, save Abraham Lincoln before his death The blog may be somewhat for older children or adults, so if you feel scared, feel free to discontinue reading. Happy 2010!

Hello, Commander WillowWeaver!

Attention trooops!

Let us cut close to the chase, as they would say in cool movies. Our very own, Myth Initiate, Tour Guide, Valkoor WillowWeaver has just achieved the rank of Commander! Valkoor is the first in the WillowWeaver Dynasty to achieve the Grand Title of Commander. After defeating countless opponents, Valkoor finally found himself at the rank of Captain. Valkoor was stuck at that rank, for ah, 4 weeks. Finally, after long despair, he has become a Commander! Just getting the cut, Valkoor now owns 802 rank points! As you see above, he has about 470 tickets. Just three wins short of the infamous FootGear of the Indomitable. You hear me, I WILL get those boots if it's the last thing I do in my W101 Era! I'd like to thank "dapangrulez" from Wizard 101 Central for providing me the inspiration to become a PvP duelist again. Thanks!

Happy Dueling,
JR Blogger

Who Let the Dogs Out? Woot!

Happy New Year!

I hope all of you guys are having an O.K. time settling back into school, as I am. I remember on Tuesday morning, the first day of school in 2010, when I had to wake up. Unfortunately, due to a long, long, long, drop-off line, I must leave my house at exactly 7:30! This is my first year at a new school, and at my old school I WOKE UP at 7:30. Seeing this, you must imagine how big of a change that was.

Enough about me. Have any of you guys received your Danger Hound yet??? I did, and I named her Princess Roxy! Not bad, eh??? My new Danger Hound has a shining coat of the darkest night sky, eyes like the moon, and a howl like the wind during a HURRICANE! Pictured above see that I have taken a perfectly timed screen shot, picturing my Danger Hound just at the beginning of one of her howls. (Not that I'm a photographer, know you!!!) When equipped, Princess Roxy gives the spell: Infection, which does - 50% to the next healing spell dealt by the target. Infection is a great asset to any avid PvP dueler, like me. I'm sure you'll be seeing lots of Princess Roxy soon! But for now, Happy New Year and all of that for the rest of school!
